If you know someone who believes passionately in decarceration, the emptying of the prisons and jails, and personal recognizance bond for serious criminal suspects, then you probably know someone who will vote for Joe Biden for President and has in the past.

CNN, clearly a member of the Biden Media Fan Club, finds that he has disappointed some his supporters from that quarter.

Somehow, my heart does not bleed for him.

  1. Joe Biden cares only about Joe Biden, always has, always will, and has shown throughout his “career” that he will lie, cheat, steal and commit treason to benefit and enrich himself. Unfortunately, our other choice for President us sitting in a courtroom facing a felony conviction before a biased prosecutor, judge & soon to be empaneled jury. No wonder that most Americans in the middle or at either end if the political spectrum feel disenfranchised and ignored.

    • And what is the result of Joe’s lifetime of wrongdoing? He gets to be President of the United States, AND has an appreciative media. Burns me up.

    • Howdy Doody has long been hanging from strings controlled by a small flock of halfway clever dirty birds who are inevitably self-condemned by their own self-devotion and lack of conscience. True justice is too likely to follow, sooner or later. Let us all do what we can to make it sooner.

  2. Disband the DEA, transfer all personnel to the Border Patrol. Only incarcerate violent offenders. Make non-violent offenders others work building the border wall and the money the earn is given to those who they have harmed. Simple. Efficient. Just.

    • Yup. The bible commands this:

let him who stole steal no more, but rather work with HIS HANDS so he can give to the poor”.
That is true justice. Taking billions of OUR tax dollars and warehousing them for years is not. Nor is justice the leting them go with no punishment guarnteeing they will be back at the thievery within hours.

      • Correct. And the Bible would have the crooks paying back their victims, not paying the government. That is justice, when victims are re-imbursed for their losses.

  3. CNN blew their credibility long ago, except of course for the easily led and/or impressionable..that will be all

  4. When I hear Joe/Kamala/KJP/or their friends make any “statement of fact”, it reminds me of the scene in “The Outlaw Josey Wales” where Fletcher tells Senator Lane “There’s another old saying Senator…Don’t piss down my back and tell it’s rainin’ “

  5. Brandon isn’t running this dumpster fire. This is Barry Soetoro’s third term. We’re done if Trump loses in November.

  6. Biden still has time to empty the prisons to gain votes. While President Trump’s actions made some sense, Biden’s don’t and won’t. He wants us to be disarmed and then fails to lock up dangerous criminals. CNN will say anything to get viewers and readers. It’s a long way to November.

    • He doesn’t have to empty the prisons. He is importing voters by the millions from the southern border.
I myself say that a vote for Biden is a vote for Kamala Harris for the next president of the United States. Because Biden for sure won’t last another 4 years.

    • @Bill Hoppe: While President Trump’s actions made some sense, Biden’s don’t and won’t.

With respect, Biden’s actions make perfect sense.

No, they don’t make sense if one’s goals are to protect and defend the Constitution (against all enemies, foreign and domestic), preserve and strengthen America as a sovereign nation, and benefit Americans’ lives.

Those would be my goals, and I imagine yours, too. But given Biden’s entire career, what would lead a reasonable person to believe those are his goals? (Or more correctly these days, his handlers’ goals.)

If instead you assume that his (or his handlers’) goals are to subvert and overturn the Constitution, weaken and submit America to “one world” influences, and benefit foreigners’ lives over Americans — in short, everything Soros and Obama have been trying to do for years — then his actions make perfect sense. Flip your perspective and it all becomes clear.

  7. I will positt that anyone holding that Trump 24 will be pretty much a rerin of Trump 16 woiuld be very much mistaken, if not deluded. A lot has happened since 20, and I’ve this string feeling that the wringer “they” are putting Trump through presently is causing him to take a deeper look at what reality in Americ, and the world, is today. He knows, up close and VERY perosnal the real deal on things like the Jan Sixth “insurrection” they are falsely blaming on him, and who failed to take what steps to guard against it, and that there remain I think a few hundred who have been behind bars for three years now no rial, some in solitary confinement, for walking thrugh some doors in a big building which doors were held oen by cops smiling and waving thm on inside.
I personally think if Trump would announce his intention to examine the criminal charges and basic evidence for each of those yet incarcerated then granting the vast majority of them a full pardon, then reexamine the cases of all those cinvicted for their alledged actions of that day. The icing on the cake would be to idnetify all the FBI and CIA inside operatives on that day and fire anyone whose behaviour that day is in the slightest bit tainted with injustice.

    • Yes, no more Mr. Nice Guy. The Democrats get to do whatever they want, most of the time; open borders, soft on crime, legalized shoplifting, fake trials brought against Trump, take away Giuliani’s law license. The Republicans make good arguments about how wrong the Democrat policies are, but they take no action.

I wish we could set the January 6th political prisoners free. I want to demonstrate, but I’m afraid of escalation.

Gov. Gavin Newsom made headlines last summer for proposing a 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution enshrining a handful of gun control measures into the supreme law of the land.

There was some ginned up fanfare, with state Sen. Aisha Wahab praising Newsom as “a man of action” in the press release announcing the amendment.

It was all a bit much for what everyone understood at the time to be Newsom’s latest attempt at positioning himself for the White House.

Alas, the California Legislature, dominated by the Democratic Party, approved a resolution calling for a constitutional convention on gun safety. Thirty-three states must make similar calls for such a convention to happen, but even then there’s an asterisk (more on that later).
Almost a year later, reports Bay Area News Group’s John Woolfolk, no other blue state has taken up Newsom on his proposal.

As Woolfolk notes, there are 18 other states with state legislatures controlled by the Democrats. But none have shown signs of following suit.

This is certainly not a surprise. Most states in the country have little interest in the sort of gun control measures pitched by Newsom.

Constitutional attorney Cody J. Wisniewski explained in these pages back in June: “Given only 10 states and Washington D.C. have any form of ban on so-called ‘assault weapons’ or any form of waiting period, while 27 states have enacted some iteration of free/constitutional/permitless carry, it is clear that there isn’t currently much appetite for Newsom’s particular brand of gun control across the country.”
