Something I haven’t seen in the mainstream media…more than mosquitoes to worry about down there.

Brazil, the “Nation of the Future,” and always will be! Summer Olympics in yet another “socialist paradise!”

Down in Rio, armed robbers are having a field-day in the “human wild-dogs” versus “stampeding unarmed human wildebeest” competition!

Despite “extreme security,” the Olympic “security chief” himself was attacked by four knife-wielding armed-robbery suspects directly after opening ceremonies. He lived through it, through no fault of his own! Armed police officers arrived in time to shoot one of the suspects before he could perform a murder. Suspect was DRT. His companions fled the scene and are still at large.

Imagine this so-called “Chief of Security” not carrying a pistol. What a fool!

Portugal’s own Minister of Education was simultaneously assaulted and robbed as he headed back to his hotel.

Many other assaults and robbery/kidnaping attempts, but the situation is so embarrassing to local politicians, most of it is being hushed-up. The American press won’t report it, of course, as it does not fit-in with their pro-socialist talking points. No socialist/Communist government can ever do wrong!

The wise are not attending. Between armed robbers and local bacteria, it is not a safe place to be!

Back here, the wise go armed! We know that “rescue” is mostly fantasy. We know that “protection” is also mostly fantasy. What protection you do enjoy will be generally what you personally provide!

Socialists here care as much about our personal safety as do socialists everywhere else!

  1. Nothing is being reported, probably self-imposed (by proxy) censorship. Besides the case Mas commented, an assault on Portugal’s Education minister and a shot taken to the New Zealand news tent, Rio has had zero crime during the Olympics.
    It is like all of the sudden there was a city wide NRA Meeting!

  2. Thanks to the disingenuous mainstream news media lots of happy-talk stories pushing the Rio summer Olympic hype are overshadowing the raw and nasty tribulations in that hapless Third World city. Yet comparable troubles are erupting in America the beautiful, too. For instance, in my “fair city” (Portland, Oregon) the intrepid mayor and city council have virtually handed over control to packs of crud-encrusted tramps and beggars who pitch tents on public property and chuck their garbage, dirty needles and bodily waste wherever they please. Situational awareness is vital in my city so that one can avoid stepping in something disgusting, being aggressively panhandled or physically assaulted. Meanwhile, citizens should be ready to hit the deck when gang bangers try to cap their rivals (a common occurrence) because the bad guys usually miss their targets and hit innocent bystanders. So by all means travel to the City of Roses and celebrate diversity.

    The citizens of the socialist utopia of N. Korea believe that the rest of the world, especially the U.S., is a starving hell hole of death and corruption. Not that much different than the lie our press keeps repeating as to the great strides we have made under the Obama administration and the importance of continuing that “progress” under a Clinton administration. That, coupled with federal controlled public education system’s indoctrination of our children with the glories of socialism, will soon complete the enslavement of a once free people.

    We are at a crossroad in history. Pray that we choose the right path, lest we loose the right to choose our future.

  6. Wow, so rare to hear of VIPs becoming victims of crime. Sounds like Brazilian security could learn a lot from American security.

    If you are interested in seeing more of the fruits of liberalism/socialism, check out the food riots in Caracas, Venezuela. Poor Hugo Chavez. He meant well. It’s those darn Yankee Imperialists who messed up his worker’s paradise, just like they did to Fidel’s Cuba. If Capitalists would quit messing with the world, it would be a paradise. I can hear the singing now, “I’d like to teach the world to sing, in perfect harmony……”

  8. Speaking of the Mainstream Media (MSM), I would like to comment on their role in the current election.

    Well, folks, I can already nominate the 2016 Presidential Election as the most “Rigged” Presidential Election in U.S. History. You can talk about the 1800 and 1824 elections (both decided by the House of Representatives) or about the “Hayes Steal” of 1876 or the “hanging Chads” and SCOTUS decision of the 2000 election (if you want) but none of them holds a candle to the shenanigans being pulled by the DNC and the MSM in this 2016 event. I call it an event because to call it a contest implies that the outcome is in doubt whereas the Leftist are doing their best to eliminate any possibility of losing. They are operating on Sun Tzu’s principal that “The victorious general secures victory before the battle is even fought”. This is being done by “rigging” this election six-ways from Sunday!

    The problem from the Leftist point of view (you see) is that blasted 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. This prevents them from just anointing their messiah, Barack Hussein Obama, as “President for Life” as they would dearly love to do. Even President Obama cannot draft an “Executive Order” that is strong enough to negate the 22nd Amendment. This means that the 2016 Election must put someone new in the White House.

    For a variety of reasons, the Leftist found that they had to enter the 2016 Horse Race while riding that “Old Grey Mare” named Hillary. President Obama has created such a “Cult of Personality” among the democrats that he has effectively blasted the creation of a new, younger generation of democratic leaders. There is no “Young Obama” to which he can hand the reins. This leaves the Party stuck with “Old Timers” like Hillary and Bernie. Furthermore, Hillary started the “rigging” early. She put her people into place in the DNC (as evidenced by the DNC emails that were hacked and released) and lined up about all of the “Super Delegates” on her side. She was not going to let anyone “blindside” her again like Obama did in 2008.

    The fact is that Bernie never had a chance. The democratic nomination was in Hillary’s pocket before the first vote was even cast. I am not even sure why Bernie bothered to run. Perhaps just to have a forum for his ideas on socialism and economics. Of course, his run was useful to Hillary. It gave the appearance that a genuine contest was underway when, in fact, the end was never in doubt.

    So, the democratic Leftists have long known that they would be riding the “Old Gray Mare” during this horse race. This filled them with fear. Not because of Hillary’s policies, which are extreme Leftist just like they want. They know that she will build upon the messiah’s legacy. No, they were in fear because it was very possible (given all of Hillary’s negatives) that a republican could beat her like a drum if it came to a real race. Someone like Rubio could appeal to a younger generation and stomp her. Someone like Cruz could unite the conservatives and stomp her.

    This is when the bulb lit up on the DNC side! They realized that a “double rigging” would be required in this election. They needed to rig the republican nomination process so as to pick a favorable candidate for Hillary to run against. Someone who has negatives even stronger that Hillary’s (if possible). Normally, it would not be possible to “rig” the other side’s nominating process but they realized that special circumstances made it possible in 2016. First, there were a lot of people running for the republican nomination. This was a double-plus since it made it easy to find (a) a good negative candidate in the field (Donald Trump) for them to favor and (b) it meant that the vote would be so divided that someone could win the nomination with only about 30 to 35% of the primary vote.

    The question then became, how to get Trump the 35% of the primary vote needed to secure the republican nomination? That was easy. They simply turned to the 95% of the MSM that has a left-wing bias. They put the word out to play up Trump. Their servants in the MSM were happy to follow their marching orders since reporting on Trump was fun!

    Notice that, during the republican primary process, the MSM kept Trump’s name front and center all the time. Trump did not have to spend a dime on buying air-time! The MSM handed it to him by the truck load. Mostly it was favorable too. How Trump was quick with a come-back when attacked! How strong he was in the republican debates!

    Other republicans could barely get on the tube. It was a struggle for Cruz, Rubio and the others to get much air-time against the Trump domination.

    It worked like a charm too! Trump’s support among mainstream republicans was weak but he got enough support overall, given the fractured republican field, to get him the nomination.

    I have no doubt that, when Trump secured the republican nomination, a great sign of relief went up at the Hillary camp, the DNC and the 95% of the MSM who support them. Hillary would be running against a republican with negatives almost as great as hers! Hallelujah!

    Now that both Hillary and Trump have been selected in the most rigged presidential nomination process in American history, it is time for the Left’s “piece de resistance”. The final “triple-rigging”!

    Whereas the MSM was used to pump up Donald Trump during the nomination process, they are now being used as “attack dogs” to tear him down for Hillary today. Notice how every statement made by Trump is seized and twisted. The constant message is being repeated day by day by day by day by day by the MSM. Donald Trump is dangerous! He is a “loose cannon”! He can’t be trusted with his finger on the nuclear button! Whatever faults Hillary has, she is at least stead. She is stable. She is reliable. She is trustworthy.

    When negative news about Hillary comes out, it is only briefly reported and then allowed to die. The MSM knows that the best it can say about Hillary is the least possible. No, the real MSM cannons are now focused on Trump. The plan being, of course, to cast so much doubt upon him that Hillary will be elected by the American People as the “lesser of two evils”.

    If anyone doubts that this election is rigged to the extend outlined above, then consider this. Hillary and Trump are the most despised presidential candidates in American History. There has never been a presidential election where BOTH candidates carry the negatives that Hillary and Trump carry. I think that this is pretty much undisputed.

    Given these negatives, ask yourself this question: How could have either Hillary or Trump been nominated by their parties if the nomination process had truly been free and fair?

    The answer is that they COULD NOT! So, the very fact that we have Hillary and Trump as our main candidates is prima facie evidence that the nomination process WAS NOT free and fair!

    Given the constant barrage of negative propaganda against Trump and given that it will not let up for one second between now and election day, there is a really good chance that Hillary Clinton will be the next President of the United States. Yes indeed. With the overwhelming support of the Leftist MSM, the “Old Gray Mare” is likely to win this Horse Race.

    However, given the Leftist MSM and DNC’s efforts to prevent the election from being “free and fair”, in my opinion, if Hillary is elected, she will have no more legitimacy than that held by the current President of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe.

  9. But Brazil is a “gun control” paradise. Surely, aside from the few exceptions mentioned by Mr. Farnam, Brazil must be one of the safest and most (violent) crime free countries in the world in which one could live. I would have finished with “LOL”, but realized there’s really nothing funny about it.

  10. Same old shit another day. Same thing is happening here in Ga. just not reported. Within a month there has been 3 elderly people beaten 1 a 83 year old woman her arm broken in 4 places a leg broken and gasoline poured on her and she was set on fire. POS’s left she poured water on herself and crawled to her phone to call her daughter. 3 cases of fleshing eating bacteria a 29 year old woman ex-marine had to have both legs and right arm removed because of it. She is a mother of 2 and has a husband. Last I read there is 50 cases of Zika here in GA. In the past year I have had 3 attempts of home invasion that didn’t work out for the invaders to well.

    Just in July over the world there was 30 something terrorist attacks and over 1000 people killed. How many more were killed that never got reported by anyone? When I get up of the morning and put on my clothes I put my handgun on and it doesn’t come off until I get in the shower and go to bed and I keep a shotgun or rifle close. I have done this for over 30 years and don’t plan on stopping. Sheep will not fight going to the slaughter house it is just their nature.

    Our Gov’t doesn’t see in black and white but very close nuances of gray. There is no right or wrong to them anymore just how they feel about things. Words are cheap actions cost. All of the Libtards battleship mouths is fixing to overload their rowboat rear end and it is going to cost our Nation in the loss of our freedom. We can stop this, unless we have waited to long and let our system get so corrupt that the system is rigged ( there can’t be enough stupid people to have elected Obummer twice). Everyone I talk to that says I’m not voting for Trump or Hillary I tell them they are waisting their vote. All this BS has been going on for decades and now the scales are so unbalanced it will cost us. How we pay I don’t know I can’t see the future but I can read the signs to where it is pointing. Have we come to the point of no return? I don’t think so but we do need to set a new bearing and get back on the right path for all of America.

    Ok sheepdogs time to do your jobs. I don’t care what race you are ,your religion, sexual preference, if you are a tree hugger or a meat eater right now we are all Red, White and Blue. We the People must take a stand and stand together or our future looks really bad. Do we continue to make daisy chains while our nation falls off the side of a cliff? Or do we change it even if it is changing it one person at a time? Sorry to be the bearer of bad news we don’t live in a bubble. We can’t control just the evil that threatens our lives but we must also control the evil that threatens our way of life. Drive On.

  11. Tn- Man, thanks, in the very beginning I felt strongly, Trump is vote for Hillary Clinton. But, no one would listen.

    Simply said, I’m told if it comes too one ore the other, Trump is the ticket, and the majority will vote Trump, instead of Hillary.

    You, couldn’t be more correct about MSM, and the other news sources. Everything about MSM, giving Trump all the coverage, he could want, then turning on him.

    As for my own personal choice for president, I would choose Ted Cruz.

    I totally agree! I am sure Hillary was very disappointed that she didn’t get coronated Queen back in 2008. Now she has had to wait 8 years for her coronation, and she won’t let anything mess it up this time! The Clintons are very powerful. Some of the people who get in their way fall in to an early grave.

    TN_MAN: You better stop thinking logically like a conservative and putting out common sense information, or HillBilly will have you removed to a re-education camp when their reign begins in January 2017.
