Why am I concerned with the prospect of Hillary Rodham Clinton as President of the United States? Let me begin to count the reasons.

For many years I have been a sworn police officer. Mrs. Clinton’s dislike of police has long been a matter of record. From her contempt for the Arkansas troopers on her bodyguard detail when her husband was governor of that state, to the disdain with which she treated Secret Service when she was in the White House, to her campaign’s recent announcement that it was not interested in an endorsement by the Fraternal Order of Police, it is clear that Mrs. Clinton is no friend or supporter of law enforcement.

For many years I have been an expert witness in weapons and homicide cases, on both the criminal and civil justice sides of the house. Even-handed fairness is the very essence of justice. Go back to her earliest professional days, when her ethics were questioned during the Watergate matter. Go back to the case where her ethics came into question in her defense of a child molester.  As we look at the questionable contact more recently between her husband and the Attorney General immediately before the AG abjured from deciding on Mrs. Clinton’s prosecution in the email matter, we wonder about even-handed fairness by a potential President whose appointments to the US Supreme Court will determine the tenor of that body for the next generation or two.

For many years I have been a life member of the NRA, and a responsible gun owner and firearms instructor. When a candidate compares groups you belong to – and thus, by extension, you – to terrorists, you start getting nervous.

We live in a time when there is strong sentiment to put suspected real terrorists on lists such as the no-fly list and the no-gun list. A candidate conflating law-abiding Americans with terrorists is unacceptable. It is not surprising that some American gun owners watch the rise of Hillary Clinton and feel like German Jews witnessing the ascendance of Adolf Hitler. (And, before anyone invokes Godwin’s Law, I invoke Ayoob’s Corollary to Godwin’s Law: If you don’t want to be compared to Nazis, don’t act like one.)

Your thought and comments are welcome here.

  1. Completely correct Mossad! Her disdain for all police officers in any capacity is just another one of her Sal Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals that she worships..She must never be allowed to ascend to the office of President…

  2. Godwin can kiss my ass. In fact, the man for whom that “law” is named really doesn’t like how it is trotted out with such flippancy. But I digress.

In my tenure working for a major Ivy League university, one of the jobs I had was to catalog our map collection. It was doing so that cemented my complete opposition to the “common sense” gun laws we are told are for our own protection.

On more than one occasion I actually broke down and cried when I saw maps with hand-written notes leading to places like Zwolen in Poland. Notes saying things like “transportated XXX number of Jews to this camp by this rail line”. On that particular map there were dried brown splotches that weren’t coffee but I shed no tears.

The worst map was dated 1938. Let that year sink in a moment. The title, in German, was something like “The Distribution of Jews in Eastern Europe” with convenient little 6-pointed stars of varying colors denoted areas where Jews were concentrated.

Now back to 1938. I can’t recall whether this map was dated before or after the “Reunification” laws which effectively disarmed the Jews in and around Germany but the result is the same: The Nazis knew where the Jews were concentrated AND that they were either disarmed or about to be…for their own protection, of course.

That wasn’t the only map that contained outright blueprints for what Hitler had in mind, and there were other captured Nazi maps with dried brown stains on them for which I shed no tears. Some were even printed maps with printed (not hand-written) details for moving Jews to death camps.

Of course, *we* are crazy because we point out history and say the same steps are happening in the same order. But we should just sit down and shut up. For our own protection, of course.

As for Hillary…why the hell would want my ex-wife’s voice screeching at me from the Oval Office?

  3. Well, I stated my views of the 2016 election in my comment in the previous blog. To sum it up, I believe:

    1) That fraud and manipulation is rampant in the 2016 presidential election. Indeed, I believe that the 2016 election will prove to be the most rigged election in American History.
    2) The author of this corruption is Hillary Clinton with the collusion of (a) her staffers, (b) the DNC staff (same thing really) and, most importantly, (c) a large segment of the mainstream media (MSM). This segment has broken all journalistic standards and, rather than just report the news, is actively trying to manipulate the news so as to bias the election results.
    3) The corruption created by the criminals, above, is so distorting the election process that the 2016 American Election cannot be considered to meet international standards for a “free and fair” election.
    4) This corruption favors Hillary Clinton, of course, since she is the author of it.

The only remaining questions, at this point, are whether the American People will let her get away with it? Will they be swayed by the propaganda pouring out from the MSM to the point whereby they reward Hillary Clinton for her corruption by electing her to the highest office in the land? Or will the American People (or at least the majority of them) wake up and see this corruption for what it is and, by means of their vote, act to deny Hillary Clinton the spoils of her underhanded efforts and to send a message to the MSM that they will not be manipulated like children?

These questions will only be answered on election day. All I can say is “Wake Up, People!”, get to the polls and then do the right thing for a change!

  4. She has no allegiance to this country, or its citizens. She has allegiance to big banks, foreign countries, and those who profit from the pillaging of our country and it’s citizens. May God help us with the strength to overcome any evil that shall be coming our way. Thanks Mas, I have learned so much from all you throughout the years by reading and absorbing the top notch information you share. Keep the great books, and articles coming please. God bless you Sir, and God bless America.

  5. I believe that the Dem hatred of police has penetrated thru and across society. It is acting out in the seemingly endless attacks on police. It is literally ever day now that a cop is shot. I woke up this morning to riots in Milwaukee, a Georgia officer shot to death, and a cop stabbed in my territory on Long Island. I dont recall such levels of active hostility in many moons. Probably since the 1960s/1970s.

I have said it before. Their is no guarantee America will survive as the nation we know. It almost went down the toilet 150 years ago. We could easily devolve into a Yugoslavia, Iraq or Venezuela. Sad that my kids will have to deal with this.

  6. Jeff,

Your query points out how a biased media has so much influence. What they fail to tell the folks can sometimes influence beliefs more than what they do report.

    http://nation.foxnews.com/2014/02/25/hillary-fired-lies-unethical-behavior-congressional-job-former-boss

There are many more sources than this one. Hillary’s reputation for lies and unethical behavior go back ’till well before Bill’s political career skyrocketed.

I once stated on this blog that I have had a full and eventful life, much of which was due to my job. I have met, had picture ops, shook hands with, got them from point-A to point-B, been the unnoticed fly on the wall in the room, away from the public eye, with every president and first lady since Gerald and Betty Ford up to George W. and Laura Bush. My kids think I should write a book.

Take my word for it when I say, Hillary Clinton is a special kind of evil. When the press is gone, when everyone other than those either charged with being her handlers or whose jobs are dependent on her good favor are gone, it is difficult to describe how the atmosphere changes in the room. It is as if everyone (with the exception of her handlers) is afraid to make a sound or even make a sound for fear of upsetting her, a coldness pervades the whole room, only to be interrupted by her, usually in an outburst of anger or disdain.

When I hear journalists telling folks how they have covered Hillary for years and have never seen these bad traits, at first I thought they were lying, then I realized that her life is so well managed by her handlers, that these reporters may have never seen her outside a managed/controlled venue.

Is Hillary smart? I guess that depends on your definition of intelligence. Al Capone built an empire. Fidel Castro fundamentally changed a nation. These two examples did so at the point of a gun. Are we going to allow it with an election based on propaganda? That certainly appears to be a distinct possibility.

  7. Add the that the overturning of Heller, and the undoing of all the work by SAF and NRA that has sprung out of it over the last several years. It’s sickening.

  8. For me to even get started on the horrors of a Killery Rotten Clinton presidency would have me here all day. Just the contemplation of who she would appoint to the SC is enough to set me off and should be enough to silence all the “Never Trump” people once and for all.

And just for those who don’t know, the Whitewater/Rose law firm shenanigans were a money laundering scheme that were a harbinger of the Clinton Family Global Shakedown Scheme that was to come. And the stated reasons for getting fired from the Watergate investigation committee should have told us who she is.

I’m going to stop now before I realize it’s midnight and I’ve been here all day.

But, just for your reading enjoyment, here’s a little piece that describes why I’m a “Never Glock” kind of guy:

    http://www.ammoland.com/2016/08/glock-vs-1911/#19195

  9. Another example of media’s failure to report, fearing a change of attitudes by the unwashed

    http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/08/13/milwaukee-riots-after-police-shoot-black-suspect-police-cars-burned-officer-injured/

This riot took place last evening in Milwaukee, evidently sparked by the shooting of an ARMED, black suspect by police. I have seen no reports of this riots on cable news this morning until just now (11:00 am) on Fox News, after non-stop political coverage prior (would reporting have been delayed if the suspect had been “unarmed”). This appears to fall in line with the sparse coverage of violent confrontations occurring outside the Democratic National Convention. Yes, they try to control thought.

  10. She’s psychotic, completely deranged; that’ the worry. More so, it’s quite a reflection of the American culture that would elect her and her predecessor.

  11. I just don’t understand why there’s been two sets of leaked scandal-worthy emails thanks to Mr Assange & Co, and yet she’s still thought of as a presidential candidate? That’s pretty… interesting.

  12. She was canned from the Watergate for unethical behavior. Whitewater was another case matter where ethics or lack thereof came into play.

  13. I wonder about the role social media will play in the upcoming election. Across all social media Trump is vastly more popular than HRC. More than twice as many likes on Facebook, for example. I looked at an ABC quickie poll on Facebook today that showed Trump getting 70% of the votes. How can telephone polls be so different from this? Have telephone polls become irrelevant or is the social media phenomenon meaningless? Or are the media lying to us about results. I find this last hard to swallow.

  14. Mas,

I will add one additional comment related to Godwin’s Law. In my opinion, a comparison to Adolf Hitler is not very accurate in this case.

This is because Adolf Hitler was a right-wing fascist. His ideology was that of the extreme Right.

In point of fact, Hillary Clinton is clearly a Left-wing extremist. She is a fanatic from the other end of the political scale.

Therefore, a more apt comparison would be with other Left-Wing fanatics rather than with Right-Wing ones. I suggest that Joseph Stalin or, perhaps better yet, Mao Zedong, would be a much better historical figure with which to compare Hillary Clinton rather than Hitler. She, along with President Obama and other American Leftists, are trying to make their own variation of a “Cultural Revolution” for America.

  15. Ok, now why would Hillary Clinton, whom to me is a criminal, show any respect for law enforcement?

  16. Brilllianton…spot on,very scared for the republic and our constitution…..Clintons are dirtier than dirt, including Chelsea

  17. That’s a tight pattern in the A zone, Mas.
I would add that she obtained (illegally) raw FBI files on government employees when she was First “Lady.” She also caused Billy Dale, former head of the White House Travel Office, to be PROSECUTED after being summarily fired for no cause. Said prosecution had as much validity as the Baltimore officers in the Freddie Gray case, i.e., none.

  18. Here’s the message I left on Trump’s website.

Don’t know if he got it, or will ever get it

As badly as Obama’s ACORN people abused the Voting Precinct’s in the 2012 election, it ought to be much worse, now that they’ve has four more years, to perfect their “Voting Fraud” methods?
    __________________________________________________________________________
Subject: Fwd: Fighting Obama’s Election Fraud with diligence, or Fire!

I assume that you are aware of the fact there were Voting Precincts that Obama received more votes, than there were the total number of “Registered Voters” in those Precincts, in the 2012 Elections?

So, even though I just voted for you in an NBC poll, were you got 61% of the Votes, come the actual November 2016 election, Four Years will have passed since the 2012 election, so Obama Organizations, like ACORN, will have had that much more time to figure out “How to illegally Out Vote YOU”, unless you can have “Poll Watchers” verifying the “Real Vote Count” in every Precinct where there could be “Voter Registration Fraud” now!

Good Luck, and if you can find a way to cast “Tombstone”, and “Nursing Home” votes for yourself, I think it would be a good way to ensure that “You WILL Win” the November 2016 election, for sure?

    Paul Edwards

  19. No t nervous, scared crapless. With her (and her party )’s penchant for voter fraud she may get few votes and still win. A very real possibility.

  20. For me, this coming election is all about the Supreme Court. All the other issues are inconsequential if we lose the Court.
Give that a thought for a few minutes.
If we lose the Court it does not matter if we have a ‘Republican’ majority in Congress. It does not matter if police officers receive honors for the work they do. Nothing else will matter.
The President can make laws and the Court will stand behind her. Who will impeach Supreme Court Justices? No one I can think of.
    France, 1789

  21. Thank you again, Mr. Ayoob!

What frightens me most of all is that she has been, to date, “untouchable” and I don’t see that ever changing.

I wish to leave a better future for our children that fully recognizes the rule of law, but the powers that be seem to have a new world order to fulfill.

    Scary, really…

  22. I’m not entirely comfortable with comparing Hillary to any of the Nazis, but I have for some time been referring to her as the Mussolini of America. Or the American Mussolini. Take your pick.

The difference between the Nazis and the Italian fascists is largely the extermination camps.

  23. Sorry, mass, I just thought Trump would have to “Fight Fire, with more Fire”?

Problem is, I know what they did in 2012, so I know just as certainly what they are going to do in 2016, only more of it, and Better!

    Paul

  24. This election is enough to send Mary Poppins into deep depression. We have one overpowering concern and associated decision and that is the future makeup of the Supreme Court. We will have to choose between a known
horrible outcome and a, hopefully, better one. Hillary cannot be the answer. My hope is that on election day, Walmart decides to offer the deal of the century for EBT card holders.

  25. “It is not surprising that some American gun owners watch the rise of Hillary Clinton and feel like German Jews witnessing the ascendance of Adolf Hitler. (And, before anyone invokes Godwin’s Law, I invoke Ayoob’s Corollary to Godwin’s Law: If you don’t want to be compared to Nazis, don’t act like one.)”

Some of your best prose yet (and that’s saying something)!

  26. The way I see it, Donald Trump is hated by both the Republican and Democrat parties, and if he’s elected President both groups will pounce on him if he breaks the law in even the smallest way. DT is also not in the habit of violating federal law.
HRC, however, is not only a dyed-in-the-wool federal criminal, but she’s beloved to the liberal left and the Democrat party. If she’s elected she will break whatever laws she wishes, and approximately half of Congress will shield her from all legal consequence.
I’d much rather have a government paralyzed by self-hatred than an “effective” government focused like a laser on me, my wallet and my gun-safe.
I’m starting to feel that deep-seated, teeth-clenching, fist-balling hatred for liberals, Democrats and traitorous Republicans. I don’t like this feeling. I can’t wait for this election season to be over.

  27. To J. Fisher, and everyone else…
Even if Trump legally wins. IT will NOT stop, IT will only get worse……..

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

AND lets get the word out!

  28. I agree with everything you say, Mas. It’s unfortunate that Republicans have nominated the one person who can, and likely will, lose to such a corrupt person. And someone who supported the AWB and putting innocent people on no-gun lists to boot!

Probably something to think about next time much earlier in the process.

  29. At this point, what difference does it make. Third wave feminists would vote for Hillary Clinton if they saw her drown a baby in a bath tub. For that matter, they would vote for Andrea Yates just to have a token woman in office. And the welfare recipients will vote for whoever keeps filling their trough. And I’m not just talking about poor people in section 8 housing, but about able-bodied, middle class, young adults who want free college tuition so they can go to school fifteen hours a week and party the other 153 hours a week, and basically postpone growing up for four years or more.

We already have a “no-gun list” of sorts, under the 1968 GCA. Convicted felons, dishonorably discharged military veterans, people who are legally insane or incompetent. But these people presumably had some sort of due process, a trial or a hearing, before legal restrictions were placed on them. The No-Fly List is completely arbitrary.

When the Terror Watch List and the No-Fly List were implemented under Bush, liberals complained (with considerable justification) about the lack of due process. Editorials in the New York Times and The Atlantic pointed out that there were no objective criteria, and that anyone could be listed for no reason. The ACLU reportedly found cases where names remained on the list even after the suspects had been investigated and exonerated.

Then Obama got elected, and the shoe was on the other foot. After the San Bernardino massacre, the administration proposed banning gun sales to people on the No-Fly List. (BTW, Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik were never on the list.) The media did an about face. Editorials in the Atlantic and NYT complained that even suspected terrorists on the No-Fly List could buy guns.

Of course, with the Democrats in power, they can define “terrorist group” or “suspected terrorists” in such a way as to include the NRA and GOA, but not ISIS or Al Qaeda. So Progressives have learned to Stop Worrying and Love the List.

Trump is a schmuck, but at least he can’t play the race card or the woman card. So Congress (both the Democrats and Republicans) might be willing to oppose him if he abused his powers or overstepped his authority.

Voting for Trump is like playing Russian Roulette with half the chambers loaded. Voting for Clinton is like putting a fully loaded revolver to your head and pulling the trigger.

  30. I understand and agree that HRC is a lying, cop hating, Communist loving, gun hating, cheating, money grubbing, freedom hating, egotistical control freak, but she’s just so drop dead gorgeous, that I can’t help adoring her.

If she wasn’t so beautiful with such a voluptuous figure which she modestly conceals in those frumpy pantsuits to prevent both male and female fans from drooling with lust, I may consider not voting several times for her in
different precincts and getting some dead relatives and friends like Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck to cast their ballots for her too.

  31. Here’s an informal “oplan” published by “Business Insider” of NYC on 08/13/16.

Read the article and ask yourselves if its topic and tone seem to hint that the Left, once ensconced at the tip of the pyramid of political power, might truly ache deep in their psyches for a recurrence of the events of April 19, 1775.

HRC constantly screeches out abrasively and loudly on the campaign trail all possible variants of the word “fight”, yet she continues to have no clue that actual fighting, if commenced as the final option in defense of an honorable, moral cause, most often has devastating consequences for the fighters involved. Benghazi, anyone?

Pray for our absolutely amazing Republic. May it not be taken apart deliberately and reassembled progressively by HRC, her minions and her sycophants. Our nation deserves a much better fate, as do our many children and grandchildren.

    http://www.businessinsider.com/us-military-armed-rebellion-2016-8?utm_source=alerts&utm_content=&utm_medium=email&nr_email_referer=1&utm_campaign=post_email

  32. HRC has often stated that she supports the Second Amendment, without going into detail. I suspect that her version of supporting the 2A is “If you like your Concealed Carry Permit, you can keep your Concealed Carry Permit. If you like your AR-15, you can keep your AR-15.” Just like you’ve been able to keep your favorite doctor and health plan.

  33. We’ve had it good for so long… One day we’ll wake up and think, how the hell did that happen. If you truly believe, something has to change… otherwise it’s just talk.

  34. I was listening to National Public Radio (NPR) in the car during the drive home from work today. I like to listen to NPR because they are always good for a laugh.

So it proved today! The Left-Wing propagandists who work for NPR were talking about Trump’s new call for police forces to monitor the polling places, come Election Day, as a measure against voter fraud. A wise precaution, in my book, given that Hillary Clinton is on the ballot.

Anyway, the propagandists did not like this idea! They seemed to feel that having an armed cop at the polling place would intimidate their voters. Make them run for the hills!

The thought flashed across my mind that only criminals and hoplophobes would react that way. No doubt, these are the groups that comprise the bulk of Hillary’s supporters!

I further thought that neither criminals nor sheep ought to be voting anyway. No doubt, this was a most “politically incorrect” line of thought! 🙂

  35. Mrs. Clinton seems to be her own variety of tyrant but if I had to link her to a soul mate, incompetent loser Hugo Chavez comes to mind.

  36. Let me start with the obvious. The GOP has fallen completely apart and even the next election after this one doesn’t look fruitful,to say the lest. I can’t believe the GOP has let this happen they have no one even in the wings that I find to be a good prospect for the presidency. Let alone what is happening now. And you know your in trouble when GOP senators and representatives are saying they are backing Clinton instead of Trump then where do we go from here.. I know I will never stand for anyone that doesn’t protect and defend the constitution plan and simple. And I’m not sure why that point is not brought up by anyone in the GOP? When I raised my hand to take the oath to join the service it wasn’t if you interpretation of the constitution was what I thought it meant so why are we letting Hilary do it

  37. TN_MAN… I honestly didn’t know if you were kidding when you said that Hitler was a right wing extremist. If you are serious, you need to do some reading. The National Socialists (NAZIs) were anything but right wing. The left are statists. Big govt guys in the purest sense. The peoples of Europe weren’t seen as individuals but as large aggregates to serve the State. The right believes in individualism, liberty and the traditions of thousands of years of culture. Hitler believed in the absolute power of the State.

  38. scott stutzman, it’s a confusing campaign year for sure but not all Republicans are conservative, many are closer to Bernie Sanders than Pres. Reagan. When they jump ship and go to Mrs. Clinton we’ve not really ‘lost’ them, we never had them.
The democrat propaganda machine, the ‘news’ media and entertainment industry plays loud and long about “the end of the Republican Party”. Who is showing us the utter implosion of the democrat party? Did you see Mrs. Schultz get fired? Did you see Sen. Sanders’ followers protesting at the convention?
No, things are not as bad for us as the ‘news’ propagandists tell us it is. Ignore the noise from the left and our side will right it’s own ship

  39. @ Long Island Mike:

All forms of fascism, including Nazism, are considered to be extreme Right-Wing ideologies. See this link:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism

They are considered to be the opposite end of the spectrum from Communism. Hence, it was almost unavoidable that Hitler’s Germany would go to war with the USSR during WW II. The extreme opposite ideologies could not help trying to destroy one another like matter mixed with anti-matter.

The extreme Right-Wing view is very different from the center-right view you listed. The view that values “individualism, liberty”. Both the extreme Left-Wing ideologies (Communism) and the extreme Right-Wing ideologies inevitability drift toward totalitarianism.

  40. In my 60-plus years on this planet, the current U.S. presidential campaign is by far the worst I’ve ever witnessed. Really, are the equally loathsome (but for different reasons) Trump and Clinton truly the very best White House candidates America can produce? Given the increasingly rapid decline in the quality of U.S. politics—and the out-of-control corruption—what will be the final outcome?

Denial, wishful thinking, shop-to-you-drop, livin’ large, and fantasy video games are not providing the solutions.
