  3. Nailing down an accurate count of actual gun owners by polling is about as likely as getting people to admit they keep money buried in their back yard. I would suggest that the percentages would be much higher than any poll would reveal.
    If I polled all my friends, neighbors, and family, gun ownership would approach 100%.
    If the true numbers were revealed in the liberal/progressive class, I would suggest it would also approach 100%.
    The difference is that they believe their superior intellect and status entitles them to this freedom (not as an inalienable right for the masses).
    How many times have we seen anti-gun politicians/ activists who defended their homes using their privately owned gun, in an area where they helped make such possession and ownership illegal? And then not prosecuted for the violation because of their status? Hell, Hillary’s friend and confident committed suicide by shooting himself in the back of the head with his weak hand in Washington, D.C., at the time, the epitome of gun-free, liberal utopia.
    You know Hillary is lying when you see her lips moving. Problem is, 40%-45% will vote for her (or any liberal/progressive) because of promised financial benefits, leaving having to convince only 6%- 11% of people who should know better.

  5. We suffered 8 long years with the Clinton Administration anti gun views. I saw those fiasco assault weapon hearings on c-span and it was filled with distortion’s and fantasy. That was the worst attack on our 2nd amendment rights I ever witnessed until what I’ve been watching recently round two, just imagine her in the White House?
    I watched as the Clinton’s daughter got married and remember they hired an additional 2 million in heavily armed Black Water Security to support the beefed up secret service detail. All this from someone who does not believe in gun ownership for self defense by ordinary civilian’s. Go figure how their lives our worth much more then ours.

    I was discussing her election with a physician friend of mine the other day he feels strongly she will probably get elected for the same reasons Obama did.

  6. 40+ years of Fifth Column-like infiltration, then takeover, of the public opinion makers that schools, universities, show business and all mass media are finally did paid off for the Left. Voters have been dumbed down enough to put people in power for purely racist (his race) or sexist (her gender) reasons while believing themselves to be progressive and high-minded. I too have little doubt that the H-bomb will land her broom on the White House lawn in ’16.

    The only good news is that the Clintons’ gun-grabbing schemes gave birth to the CCW movement of the ’90s and that Obama quickly became known as the best gun and ammo ‘salesman’ ever. If not being able to find anything at a decent price on the gunshop shelves is good news, that is.

    Well, methinks that the USSS is in for another painful round or two of working for people who call their protectors names that wouldn’t be allowed in this blog…

  7. I was wrong when I believed that this country was not stupid enough to elect her husband the first time, based on what information was freely available on him at that time. I was again wrong when I believed that, after his first term the country had wised up and was able to see with their own eyes how despicable this lying rapist and serial sexual predator cretin was.

    Now I am reading the opinions of some who believe that when it comes down to it, the Hildabeast will choose not to run. She believed the presidency was hers for the taking until an inexperienced nobody from Chicago showed up and forced the bedwetting liberals to choose between voting for a minority and a woman to assuage their white liberal guilt. It was next assumed that the 2016 elections would be more a coronation for her. Then comes all the ZeroBama baggage associated with, among other things, her performance in the Benghazi disaster, NPR DARING (Imagine!) to question her forthrightly, her inability to articulate any foreign policy success during her term at State, the bang on the head that turns out to have been much more serious than first reported (thanks to Bill shooting off his mouth) and on and on.

    In the end it may all prove to be too much for someone approaching 70 years old. The Hildabeast HATES the media, HATES being questioned or having to explain anything to anybody. Her track record is one of being a megalomaniac control freak with a monumental, crockery throwing temper. Fortunately for everyone within range, as Ann Coulter observed, she throws like a girl. Al Gore nearly resigned the vice presidency over a dispute about who would get the office in the White House normally occupied by the VP. It is right next to the Oval Office and the Hildabeast DEMANDED she be given it (to keep a close eye on Bill no doubt. In this it turns out she was quite prescient). In the end tradition was observed over her temper tantrums.

    If she is elected though she will continue the attack on the Constitution currently ongoing under ZeroBama. She is a true believer and disciple of Saul Alinsky and the Cloward & Priven doctrine. Her election would be a Constitutional disaster.

    We may well be on the highway to hell, or I may be a foolish optimist. Read some American history and see some of the true miracles that took place in founding this country. Just the story of Washington’s attack on the British after the storied crossing of the Delaware river is filled with divine intervention. There is no way in the world that should ever have worked. Washington and his army should have been destroyed, by the river if not the enemy. Even a subordinate commander launching what was supposed to be a diversionary attack much too early (for which Washington threatened to have the man hanged when he heard about it) turned out to be just the right move at just the right time, causing the Hessians to turn out in the middle of a storm, getting soaked and frozen. They then returned to the barracks where their commander allowed them to fully stand down not believing anyone in their right mind would ever attack in the teeth of such weather.

    The price that has been paid for this country has been much too high to allow a couple of Marxist Useful Idiots to throw it all away.

    But I’ve been wrong before.

  9. Dennis – I applaud your research and love the link you gave us. Alas, I fear the gent who “confessed” in that link only succeeded in underscoring the problem all too well. Until the majority of the gun enthusiasts and the majority of the gun control people can have meaningful, constructive dialogue – nothing will be accomplished. Apparently there are too many factions in this great country who stand to profit from our differences as opposed to compromise. I also agree with Michael above when I say even though I was stunned when both Clinton and Obama got elected – I understood why. What STILL escapes me is why BOTH of them were RE-elected! If the majority of the voters couldn’t see through the façade of those two non-Americans, I fear we are in deep trouble. If nothing else, it shakes my faith in the ability of America to resolve what is only ONE Constitutional crisis among several that loom in the all-too-near future. May God bring us to our senses before we ruin the greatest country in history.

  10. They were re-elected because there are more takers (or “Second Handers” if you are an Ayn Rand fan) than there are producers. More deadbeats looking for the “Free Stuff” being promised by the left and more low information voters not caring that their masters are allowing this country to be flooded by third worlders whom the masters intend on turning into democrat voters with their hands already out as they cross the border looking for the Free Stuff being promised.

    The agenda of the left is clearly to reduce this country to third world status dependent on a cadre of enlightened “Benevolent Masters” to care for us and provide just enough to sustain us as we labor for their comfort and benefit.
    For an example there is none better than the Current Occupant, the Dear Leader ZeroBama.
