BIG FUN AT FTW RANCH

1. I was there with my son who completed the S.A.A.M. course when he was 14 years old. Great place. Great people.

2. Looks like somebody is playing with a mortar. Bowling ball or real ball? Went a pretty fur piece.

3. And looks like the evil Princess of to the right taking photos.

4. 15 pound bowling ball, Marc. These Texans don’t fool around.

   General Santa Ana probably would NOT have conquered FTW ranch circa 2016…

5. That’s kinda put a grin on my face.

   Buut FTW Ranch? Is that For The Win or (something) The World -blush- or something else entirely?

6. I recall shooting a small bore match at Blue Trail range in CT. It must have been 1967 or 68. We were in Jr High school. At the far left of the range, there were canons shooting at 200 yards. I recall they were shooting #10 tin cans filled with cement and hitting in the X Ring of their targets. Nothing like the smell of black powder in the morning. Probably illegal now. They tried to shut the range down no too long ago. Last I heard it was still opee.

7. Paul S, I’m happy to say the Blue Trail Range is still there. They won, at tremendous cost, the BS attempt to shut them down.
