  1. San Diego is so vibrant that I am afraid to go their. Plus I am not even allowed to defend myself. I can see the point of the SAF in going to the belly of the beast but it’s not for me.

  2. Richard, Mission Valley is on the Northern outskirts of the City of San Diego. It’s much less urban than the city proper and much more welcoming, IMHO. Don’t miss out on this great gathering of activists just because of a little confusion between Mission Valley and downtown San Diego.

  3. While it would be great to attend, I could not justify a multi-day trip to the other side of the continent to get there. Perhaps next year if it is held in a closer venue.

I will say one thing about the selected venue. Holding it in Southern California is certainly “bearding the lion in his den”. That is ground zero for the firearms-prohibitionists. I should imagine that it will drive the gun-grabbers “nuts” when it occurs.

Just be aware of security. The leftists like to paint “The Radical Right” as ultra-violent but this is pure projection. It is the Left that constantly relies on violence and intimidation. Communism was advanced, all around the World, at the point of the gun and bayonet. Protests, mob violence, riots, terrorism, and intimidation are all standard tools in the Left’s playbook:

    Quote of the Day:

“Political power flows from the barrel of a gun.” – Chairman Mao

Nice to know January 6th 2021 never happened.
One US party does support achieving power by violence and intimidation.
Every Repubican president has been listened to silently in his state of union address. Republicans heckle and jeer Democrat ones.
Every Democratic president has left office quietly. The right kill cops when they lose.
The Republican party supports the rioting

The RNC approved unanimously a resolution that it was ‘legitimate political discourse’.
There is zero chance of Trump accepting defeat in November and the Republican party will support rioting again.

    • @ nicholas kane: What? Are you still buying into the “insurrection narrative” constructed around January 6th? Are you still drinking deeply of the “Propaganda Cool-Aide” put out by the American Left and their media attack dogs? Tell me, do you still believe in the “Russia collusion hoax” too? That the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election was completely fair and above board? That Covid-19 mutated in a Chinese Wet Market and not in a Chinese Lab? How about Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny? Also part of your belief system? 🙂

I doubt that most of the readers of this blog are drinking the “Left-Wing Narrative Cool-Aide” that deeply. Most would probably choose to go with the views expressed in this article instead:

    • nicholas kane,

The only person who died in the January 6th, 2021 riot on Capitol Hill was Ashli Babbitt. She was unarmed, but shot by a police officer. Some police officers were physically attacked, but none died from anything that happened on January 6th.

During the George Floyd riots in the summer of 2020, Leftists in Portland, Oregon rioted every night for about 100 days/nights. I’m not sure how many days the Leftists rioted in Seattle, Washington, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, but it was likely about 90 days/night.

Right-wingers have jobs, and most of us are law-abiding. We are as mad as hell, but I don’t see any Right-wingers taking any actions that could be described as violent. There was no insurrection on January 6th. When Right-wingers participate in an insurrection, we will bring guns. Till then, we work, pay our taxes, pay our bills, comment on current events, and grumble. We do not loot or burn down businesses.

  5. The riot was specifically to stop the election results being coinfirmed. That is what was happening in congress that day. Not accepting the transfer of power because of an election is the definition of anti-democratic.
Four officers, who responded to the attack committed suicide in the days and months that followed. 174 police officers were injured, of whom 15 were hospitalized, some with severe injuries.
Trump did use the word ‘peaceful’. That is one word out of months of whipping up hate and convincing people they were about to be enslaved if they let the confirmation take place.
You all saw those events with your own eyes.
You ever notice how I keep referring to things that actually DID happen?
After eleven and a half years of Democratic presidency this century. Where’s the tryranny? And you all still have your guns.

    • nicholas kane,

Thank you for using facts. Not accepting the transfer of power is OK if that transfer was fraudulent. Remember that in 2016, Hillary Clinton argued to the effect that Trump had not won the Presidential election fairly. In my opinion, Vice President Pence should not have certified the 2020 election until he was sure Biden had won it fairly. There was an investigation into the 2000 election (Bush versus Gore) which took weeks before it was decided that Bush had won.

Some Trump supporters did get violent on January 6th, 2021. Their actions are to be condemned.

We have tyranny with a smiley face (I heard that from Mark Levin). Our government can’t step on our faces with their boots, but they would like to. We Americans are very sensitive to tyranny. We don’t wait until people are starving, and being politically oppressed before we start criticizing our government. Factually, yes, you are correct, we still have our guns, and 29 states have Constitutional Carry, which is definitely a victory for freedom-loving Patriots.

Where’s the tyranny? Every human being has an inner tyrant. I suppress mine, but the Democrats want their inner tyrant to have his way. Everybody wants to rule the world. People come to America because we have less tyranny than most countries. Most people love it here. At least there is plenty of food.

    • @ nicholas kane – “The riot was specifically to stop the election results being confirmed. That is what was happening in congress that day.”

What you say above is not fact. It is opinion. It is the left-wing narrative that has been pushed, relentlessly, by Democrat-Party media propagandists since that day.

How valid is this narrative? Well, considering that these same media propagandists have fed the American People a steady stream of lies, distortions, and half-truths for the last 20 years (at least), then there is more than enough reason to be doubtful.

Frankly, if I have $1 for every falsehood that has been spread by our “Trusted Media” over the last 20 years, I would likely be richer than the top 10 billionaires in the World combined. That is my opinion! 🙂

There are alternative opinions as to what occurred on January 6th. This is one of them:

Thanks for that, which is all I said. I never mentioned Meuller, or Covid, or the Easter Bunny or the other totally irrelevant subjects people are bringing into the discussion.
