  1. Interesting, but bear in mind the attitude of the oppositon: Laws, smaws, we’ll do what we want and use tax money to fight it out in court.

    Going to the punch line of an old joke/story: “Come the revolution, you’ll do what you’re damn well told.” Which, come to think of it, has been demonstrated countless times in real life.

      They know they can’t enforce unconstitutional laws. But they pay no price for passing unconstitutional laws and trying to enforce them, and they have unlimited tax resources to defend the laws and their actions in court. The burdens and costs of challenging those laws are on us, and they damn well know it and take full advantage of it.

Additionally, letting career criminals, mentally ill and select groups run rampant while infringing, demonizing and criminalizing otherwise good and productive citizens.

  6. As others have noted above, the democrat party (American Left) is lawless. Or, rather, they see the law as a tool with which to hammer their enemies while not letting it constrain their own actions at all.

    Nevertheless, they have a real problem, in the practical sense, as well as the legal sense. There are hundreds of millions of firearms in the hands of American Citizens. Confiscating them is an enormous practical and logistical problem. Do you think that everyone will just hand them in to the Government because “Shotgun Joe” Biden and his cronies demand them?

      Agreed. For fun, I will just try to speculate, and play the “what if?” game. If the Marxists really will stop at nothing to achieve their dreams, they might try to withhold food from those who refuse to give up their guns. Stalin did that to the Kulaks, even in the rural farm areas, during the Holodomor, 1932–1934. I would think it would be pretty hard to starve out farmers, but Stalin did it. Of course, those farmers were already disarmed.

      Imagine the Democrats pay a lot of money to gang members, like MS-13, to go door to door confiscating weapons. It would be bloody work, but it could be successful if the gang members (illegal aliens) use overwhelming force, and are well-paid and well armed.

      I suppose the most likely scenario is for things to continue into the future as they have in the past. The Left keeps making progress implementing its agenda, while the Right resists vocally, separates from the Left physically, and gets a few of its own victories.

      There is one thing I am absolutely sure of, and it just may be the one thing that keeps the peace. Both those on the Left and the Right love their standard of living in America, and do not want see it diminish in any way. Open conflict would diminish our standard of living, our happiness in this nation, and both sides know it. So, I expect the bickering to continue. We shake our fists at each other, then go back to living our lives, being the envy of most of the 8 billion souls on this planet, who wish they could live like we do.

  7. There are penalties for breaking the law. Could someone list the prosecutions the republicans carried out when they gained office.
    I’ll give you a clue as to how many there are: it’s a one digit number beginning with zero.

      Always the same argument, eh? Let me sum it up.

      1) The American Left controls: (a) The Administrative arms of our government, (b) most major media channels, (c) they are in-bed with the global corporations, (d) they control (and have converted) our education system into an indoctrination system, (e) they control sports and entertainment channels, (f) they control big pharma and big tech, etc.
      2) The American Left dominates the courts, especially in the big media markets (New York, Washington, DC, Chicago, etc.)
      3) They use Mutiple suppression techniques (economic attacks, deplatforming, lawfare, threats of mob violence, etc.) to silence their political opponents.
      4) The opposition Party (The Republicans) are so scared of them, and their character-assassination attacks, that half of them are afraid to put up a good fight. The other half has decided that “if you can’t beat them, then join them” and have become collaborators.

      From the above position of strength, the American Left commits crimes at will because they know that no one, not the courts, not law enforcement, not the church, not the opposition party, has the spine to stand up to them. Anyone who tries gets the “Donald Trump” treatment. President Trump is being made into the “Poster Boy” to illustrate what happens to those that oppose the regime.

      So, what is your conclusion? That we are all delusional and are making “obviously false allegations”. Aren’t Worldview differences interesting?
