Well, about the scariest thing I’ve seen so far this October 31 is this, shamelessly taken from my friend Miggy Gonzales’ blog at gunfreezone.net:

Drive carefully out there amongst the trick-or-treating rug rats.

I’ve been asked why this blog has been on politics more than guns, and will be until the election. The answer is simply that if the politics go wrong, we’re gonna start losing our right to own and use the guns at a rapid rate.

Over this past month, I can point to about 125 good reasons to fight hard to keep those rights. 24 students trained in a MAG-40 class hosted by the Reichard family in Indiana. 38 deadly force instructors certified by me and Marty Hayes in a forty hour course sponsored by Dave Maglio in Wisconsin. Another 31 at our Michigan MAG-40 hosted by Art Joslin, and 32 at the one we just finished in Florida under the auspices of Herman Gunter, III.

Those 125 people are the tip of the iceberg of the armed citizens the Democratic Presidential nominee has bluntly stated she doesn’t want to own AR15s, or magazines that hold more than ten cartridges. She has stated that she agrees with one of the Supreme Court justices who dissented in the decision that affirmed the Second Amendment as an individual right; that justice recently stated that he doesn’t think the 2A means you can keep a rifle by your bed.

We ALL need to do everything we can to keep Hillary Clinton out of the White House, and those who parrot her out of the House and Senate. It won’t be over ‘til it’s over, and there are increasing signs it may not be over even after the election is tallied up.

  1. I will try very hard to vote for Donald Trump, but it’s quite difficult because Hillary Clinton is so incredibly beautiful, along with other liberal females like Rosie O’Donnell, Janet Reno, Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfred, Madeleine Albright, Nancy Pelosi, and Helen Thomas just to name a few.

When conservative women are as ugly as Cindy Crawford and Claudia Schiffer in their younger days, it’s so much easier to vote for HillBilly.

  2. For the record, the other pics in that post you stole the Clinton/Trump pics from are…disturbing.

I am holding out faint hope that the most recent revelations and the normal defenders of Clinton scurrying like roaches in the light spell a loss for Hillary. Still, it is only a glimmer since I’ve seen her and her husband slither away from trouble unscathed too many times before.

Keep praying, folks. This is out of our hands.

  3. Yes. There is all of that at risk.

Learning how to handle firearms involves far more that firearms. It involves personal responsibility and rules and laws. Laws involve politics, especially now. Politics require Knowledgeable involved citizens. Thank you Mas.

  4. The intent of the bill of rights was to list our individual rights because some were afraid that the constitution wasn’t clear enough on the limitations of the government. If the 1st and 3rd thru 10th amendments are a list of individual rights then how can you not conclude that the 2nd amendment is an individual right. It take a twisted and even sick mind to read history and then say it is not an individual right and the words “Shall not be infringed” actually mean what they say. I say “evil” because not to adhere to the 2nd amendment is to desire death and enslavement to criminals and the government.

  5. Great costumes! I like being involved in politics, but I can understand that, just because someone buys a gun, they shouldn’t feel compelled to get involved. But hey, it’s too late for apathy. Anyone who owns a gun IS or SHOULD BE involved in politics. That is simply reality. You can ignore a threat, but what if it doesn’t go away? Then you will have to confront that threat, or be overcome by it.

It’s too bad there are so many gun owners who have not joined gun organizations like the NRA, GOA, etc. It’s like a church. 10% of the people doing 90% of the work. Also reminds me of the working tax payers paying for the non-working tax takers.

  6. In the beginning, a few brave men enter the arena unaided, disbelieved and derided, but when their cause succeeds, the timid join in because it costs them nothing.

I applaud Roger Willco who nails the problem, but it is more like 3% doing the work… Gun Owners are a majority of voting age Americans. So why do we get pushed around so much? 127 million gun owners. 5 million NRA members, and only 1.5 million for the much more hard core, no compromise away our rights, Gun Owners of America.

It is the Women 4 Trump doing heavy lifting in this battle. So man up and vote. Trump has the best message in 200 years, and he is working harder than anyone before. Just count up the number of rally’s and give a listen… “I will not let you down.” – Donald Trump

  7. As an FFL dealer and NRA member since 1961 and now a Benefactor Member I give a $5 discount on gun sales or transfers to anyone who shows me a current NRA membership card. It is shocking as to how many people buying guns DO NOT belong to the NRA (or ANY pro gun group). As these are my customers I can’t be insulting but I always encourage them to join ASAP as they may well be buying something that will be taken away from them. Too many scoff at that possibility. How did it happen that Americans have become so complacent and feel that “it can’t happen here” so they don’t need the need to get involved in the fight?
I just encourage them to join, point to the benefits of membership, give them a pointer to where they can save 10 bucks when joining and hope they do. Scary that so many don’t care (now).

  8. The Holocaust, and the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, are two examples people point to in order to show the importance of having firearms. I also can’t see how anyone can read about “The Stanleyville Massacre” of 1964, and still argue against citizens being armed. If I do this right, there should appear a link to a “Soldier of Fortune” magazine article on the massacre, and Mike Hoare.

  9. That’s quite a story. We have the weapons, we don’t have everyone on the same page. There are many Americans who feel this country won’t become another hitler’s Germany. Maybe it just plane denial.

  10. Mas

DFI was mind bending, hard work, but it has made me a better and more knowledgeable and informed instructor

At this late date I want to say thank you to YOU personally, and to Marty Hayes… for the great training at DFI and for you and Dave for bringing this great bunch of folks, my class, together.
