  Like lots of other people, I too am looking for alterturnitive power solutions. What directions can you point me in for wood fired, steam powered, engine driven, D.C. generator powered A.C. inverters hooked up directly to the grid?  With electric power here in the midwest threating to go to above $.12 a KWH and with the abundance of wood energy, what possibilities do you and other interested people see in this? I live in the Ozarks and the only problem we have with wood is that we are up to our necks in the stuff!!
